“How odd to be made of flesh, balanced on bone, and filled with a soul you’ve never met.”
Charlize Wynwood and Silas Nash have been best friends since they could walk. They’ve been in love since the age of fourteen.
But as of this morning…they are complete strangers.
Their first kiss, their first fight, the moment they fell in love…every memory has vanished.
“I don’t care what our real first kiss was,” he says. “That’s the one I want to remember.”
Charlize and Silas must work together to uncover the truth about what happened to them and why. But the more they learn about the couple they used to be…the more they question why they were ever together to begin with.
“I want to remember what it feels like to love someone like that. And not just anyone. I want to know what it feels like to love Charlie.”
For starters, it totally deserves 5 stars, but I gave it 4 because there were some chapters where it was difficult to tell or remember who’s point of view it was. Also, Charlie and Silas are decent characters. Their love story is romantic and heart-warming, but they as people were infuriating. Granted, they had no idea who they were or about their relationship, but I don’t see the chemistry or how they ever worked – especially considering they both cheated on each other before they crazy mind erase happened.
When I picked up the book, I was a little skeptical about it. How were Hoover and Fisher going to pull off this book – let alone three! Brilliantly that’s how.
The book sucked me in. There were secrets and mystery unveiling on every page. It was unpredictable, and there were times where I never understood what was going on. However, it had a CLIFFHANGER ending and this is how I feel about cliffhangers:
I have so many questions and not enough answers! Bring on Never Never Pt. 2! But I ultimately wish this was just one stand alone book that they wrote together instead of three parts.
Well, I’ll be indulging in Never Never Pt. 2 and then crying while I wait for Pt. 3 to release in January. Happy reading lovelies!
